The Pindari Anterior Abdominal Wall model closely mimics the structure and feel of a human abdominal wall, replicating six distinct tissue layers including skin, subcutaneous fat, anterior rectus sheath, rectus muscles, posterior rectus sheath, and peritoneum.

The synthetic tissue used in the model provides a realistic sense of tension, resistance, and elasticity across these layers, enabling users to practice and demonstrate essential techniques. These include incision and closure skills (such as the Hasson cut down), laparoscopic and robotic instrument handling/angling, and safe access point and port insertion simulations.
