At IMRA Surgical, we grade our hydrogel models from Class I to Class V — each level unlocking greater realism, complexity, and procedural capability.

No animal tissue. No ethical compromise.

Class V

Class I

Our entry-level hydrogel models are designed for first contact with surgical tools.

Whether you're a student learning anatomy for the first time, or an experienced surgeon picking up a robotic system for the first time — Class I gives you the space to cut, suture, and build the confidence you need before anything else.

Class II

Class II models isolate the most critical task within a procedure, so surgeons can master it without the noise of everything around it.

Need to learn how to remove a tumour? Start here. No surrounding steps, no complexity overload - just deliberate, component focused, task-specific repetition.

Class III

Once you've nailed the critical task, Class III turns up the difficulty.

More anatomy, more procedural steps, and greater complexity - designed to challenge surgeons who are ready to move beyond the basics and start connecting the dots.

Class IV

Where simulation starts to feel real.

Class IV delivers a full end-to-end procedure with extremely realistic tissue behaviour and anatomy.

The gap between simulation and reality starts to close here.

Class V

Hyper-realism. Tissue that is life-like.

Class V models feature full anatomy, full disease state, and end-to-end procedural training on tissue that is as close to human as synthetic can get.

Some models bleed. All of them perform. This is elite simulation.
